Lacy Dressage
Kim Lacy was raised in Marysville, WA and got her first pony at the age of 3. She began competing at age 8 in huntseat and western rail classes. At 13 she discovered the world of dressage.
Kim has since trained and competed through Grand Prix and received her USDF bronze, silver, and gold medals. She is also a bronze and silver bar recipient. Kim has won numerous national and regional awards training level through FEI on several different horses of many breeds.
Many of Kims students have gone on to compete successfuly at the national level. Several are USDF bronze and silver medalists themselves.
Kim has a very patient and systematic approach to teaching and training. She understands that each horse/rider combination are different and develops an effective system for them to achieve their goals.
Kim works with riders of all ages and experience. From children as young as 5 years to the experienced seasoned competitor.
Kim continues to improve her own riding/teaching skills by riding/clinicing with many notable instructors such as Gwen Blake, Janet Foy, Barbara Koot and Conrad Schumacher.
